You’re looking at a 360Booth®, and you’re in Canada, New York, Idaho, and you have in-ground heating. Yes, we do put screws through our track to secure it to the concrete, and they go about 2-½” in.
The good news is we can still install the floor. There is just an extra step. We need to know average depth so we know if we have to shorten our screws, and we also need for you to do a radar scan and mark the grid patterns on the floor.
It’s that simple. Yes, we punctured them, but very early on without asking the question. Now, we’re very regimented and detailed to make sure we don’t hit any grid patterns.
FAQ
Will 360Booth® track screws damage my in-floor heating?
Not if the grid is mapped first. The track screws go about 2½ inches into the concrete, so 360Booth needs to know the pipe depth and where the grid runs.
What do I need to do before installation?
Have a radar scan done, mark the heating grid on the floor, and tell 360Booth the average depth of the pipes so the screws can be shortened if needed.
